Valentin Inzko hopes for PIC reaction

At tomorrow’s session of the Steering Committee of Peace Implementation Council in Sarajevo, ambassadors could make a decision which would allow High Representative in BiH Valentin Inzko to use his Bonn Powers and the blockade of FBIH and its institutions.

On that occasion, Inzko said to Dnevni Avaz that he hopes that the Steering Committee of PIC will decide positively so that OHR could react.

‘Dnevni Avaz’ reports that in the past days Inzko had intensive consultations with ambassadors in BIH on how to enable the functioning of FBiH institutions, especially FBIH Constitutional Court whose members were not elected because of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) stopped that process.

Allegedly, OHR has the support of most ambassadors especially because of the last week blockade at the session of FBiH House of People despite the clear warning of PIC, which was given few days earlier that the blockade must not happen.
