Vasvija Vidović: Orić was not present at the Commemoration in Potočari on the 11th of July

vidovic“Former wartime commander of Srebrenica, Naser Orić, was not present at the commemoration in Potočari on the 11th of July, when the Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić was attacked,” said Orić’s lawyer, Vasvija Vidović.

“Naser Orić was not present in Potočari, due to the prohibition of movement which states that he must not come out of Sarajevo and Zenica-Doboj Canton in the Federation of B&H. There are numerous evidences and witnesses for this statement. For example, the police can determine from which place he telephoned that day,” stated Vidović.

She emphasized that Orić did not participate in the attack on Vučić by any means.

Vidović also added that they might sue the President of RS, Milorad Dodik, due to his allegations during his recent visit to Belgrade, that camouflaged Orić initiated lynching of Serbian Prime Minister in Potočari.

“Depending on which media have published this statement, we will decide whether to sue Dodik for defamation or not. If this process would be held in Banja Luka, we do not believe that Orić would have any chance,” said Vidović.
