guzvaMostly dry month of August and occasionally increased traffic of vehicles, especially on the roads to the south of our country, are the main characteristics of today’s traffic situation in B&H.

On the highway A-1 on the section Visoko – Dobrinja, the repair works on the dilatation devices on a bridge M6 are being performed, which is the reason why the traffic is redirected from driving lane to the overtaking lane and vice versa.

The special attention was drawn to the section Podlugovi-Visoko, where the works on regular maintenance are performed today. Drivers are urged to adjust their ride to announced works.

Due to the works on the demining of terrain, the traffic is occasionally suspended on the main road M-4.2 Velika Kladuša – Bihać (in village Donji Purići from 08 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Today and for the next two days, due to the XIV Festival of folk creativity of B&H, on the main road M-14 Bosanska Krupa – Bosanski Novi in Bosanska Krupa, the suspension of traffic will take place from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Because of the repair works on the regional road R-455a Svatovac – Živinice – Bašigovci – Lukavica – Zelenika, the traffic will be completely suspended tonight until 8 p.m. The bypass line (Ljubače-Suha) will be in function, where buses on regular lines will be passed on the intervals of 30 to 40 minutes.

Among other roads with current works ongoing, the following highways are standing out: Doboj – Gračanica, Čelinac – Kotor Varoš, Gorica – Vitina, Čapljina – Stolac and Brod on Drina – BC Hum as well as the highway M-5 transit through Sarajevo.

According to the information of Border Police of B&H, at the boarding crossing Doljani at the exit of our country, the waiting period is about half an hour, and the same waiting time is at border crossings Bosanski Brod and Bosanska Gradiška at the entrance to our country. Waiting periods are now no longer than 15 to 20 minutes on the other border crossings.

To remind drivers, the BC Gabela polje is temporarily opened as an international border crossing (until the 1st of October).

Due to the works in Croatia, at BC Brčko-Gunja a ban on traffic for trucks is in force, as announced from the BIHAMK.
