For already five years Bosnić works and lives in Sweden and his coaching career began in 2007 with the team Sodertalje Kings from Stockholm. He spent two seasons as assistant coach, after which he became first the coach of Sodertalje in the 2010/2011 season.
He led his team twice to the title of champions of Scandinavian countries, and basketball successes brought him the title of trainer of the year in Sweden in the seasons 2010./11., 2011./12. and 2013./14.
Bosnić points out that he is flattered with the title but currently his thoughts are directed to the next match of the Swedish playoffs.
“We have lost six players from the last team. This year we have played with younger players and at the end of the regular part of the championship, we were the first with a ratio of 32 wins and 4 defeats. I think this is the basic reason why I am chosen the coach of the year in Sweden. It is very nice to receive this award, but all my concentration is now focused on the semifinals of the playoff. We want to get to the finals and to defend the title” said Bosnić for Agency Fena.
The coach of Sordatelje Kings in March of this year was appointed the coach of the basketball representation of Sweden. With his team he will try to get qualified at the European Championship in 2015. The Swedes will play in F group with the representations of Latvia, Slovakia and Romania.
He has been in contact with the basketball alliance of B&H last period and arranged two friendly matches between Sweden and B&H, which will be played on 26 and 27 July in Sarajevo.
