Verstappen Records 65th Formula 1 Victory

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen was the winner of yesterday’s Formula 1 race for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, marking the 400th anniversary appearance of the Austrian team in this championship.

The four-time consecutive world champion recorded his 65th career victory on the Imola track, and his second after seven races in the current season.

Second place went to McLaren driver Lando Norris, while third place was taken by his teammate and current overall standings leader, Australian Oscar Piastri.

Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton crossed the finish line in fourth place, fifth was Alexander Albon from Williams, and sixth place went to Charles Leclerc from Ferrari.

Also finishing in the points were George Russell (Mercedes), Carlos Sainz (Williams), Isack Hadjar (Racing Bulls), and Yuki Tsunoda (Red Bull).

In the overall standings, Piastri leads with 146 points, Norris is second with 133 points, and third is Verstappen with 124 points.

The next race will be held in seven days on the streets of Monaco.
