Vice President of Indonesia to visit Sarajevo

Muhammad Jusuf Kalla IndonesiaMuhammad Jusuf Kalla, the Vice President of Indonesia, confirmed his arrival to Sarajevo Business Forum 2017, the leading investment conference in South East Europe, which will be held on the 22nd and 23rd of May in the capital city of BiH.

It is expected that he will be accompanied by numerous economic delegation.

Indonesian businessmen are interested in the import of agricultural products, especially organic food – meat and dairy products, as well as textile and wood industry.

Although Indonesia is ranked among the top three tourist destinations in the world with a total of 17,508 islands, the people of this country see BiH and the region as an attractive place to visit, and there is great interest for the cooperation in the field of tourism.

This year’s Sarajevo Business Forum has the entire region in focus by promoting the vision of the region as the European center for organic food production, energy production from renewable sources, as well as attractive tourist and investment destination.

During the conference, as in previous years, all interested businessmen will have the opportunity to attend direct meetings with investors that will be organized by the BBI bank, and it is planned for foreign investors to visit production facilities of domestic producers.

The sponsor of the Sarajevo Business Forum 2017 is the Presidency of BiH, with the support of the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, as well as chambers of commerce and domestic and foreign companies.
