Vice-President of the European Commission and High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas will arrive in Bosnia and Herzegovina next week for an official visit.
She is scheduled to arrive in Sarajevo on April 8 and meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, and the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, it was confirmed to BHRT.
During her visit to our country, Kallas will also meet with members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
She is also scheduled to visit the Butmir military base to address personnel serving within the European Union peacekeeping mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina (EUFOR Althea).
Kallas arrives in Bosnia and Herzegovina after visiting Montenegro and Albania.
Let us recall that last month BiH Prime Minister was in Brussels where he spoke, among others, with Kallas.
“She knows the situation in the Western Balkans well. We talked about our two extremes. One is the European perspective, which is still alive, but of course if we solve the problem called Milorad Dodik. I introduced Kallas to both extremes and said some things that maybe they didn’t know in Brussels. I am very satisfied with the reaction and thinking of the EU leadership, which is aware that this is an objective danger. They give full support to the sovereignty, integrity and work of the judiciary in our country,” he said after the visit.
