Assistant to the Minister in the Sector for Diaspora Ruzmira Tihić-Kadrić said that 26 BiH writers and publishers from 12 countries will be presented this year, and they are coming from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Croatia, Italy, Norway, Germany, Slovenia, Serbia and Sweden.

At the fair, 23 appointments have been booked for the promotion of writers and publishers from the diaspora, and 70 new books will be presented.

“This year we will have plenty of creative work and publishing work of our writers from the diaspora. Both we and the diaspora are satisfied with this type of activity. They appreciate the support a lot, given that we are the institutions that does not have direct jurisdiction over culture and still we support this kind of activities for 12 years now,” Tihić-Kadrić said.

Considering the international character of the Fair, its significance and perennial tradition, this is an exceptional opportunity for the BiH writers abroad to present their work to the BiH audience.
