Viskovic Claims His Arrest Is Being Planned

The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska (RS), Radovan Viskovic, claims that there is “a plan by the United Kingdom (UK) intelligence agents who, in coordination with Bosniak representatives and the federal police, would carry out his arrest.”

“A special unit of several dozen UK special forces has come here, and this group even includes people from the Federal Police Administration, although under the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) they cannot cross the inter-entity boundary line,” said Viskovic.

Viskovic called on “the other side” to be reasonable because “RS does not want incidents, but will defend itself.”

He claims that it is not about him personally, but about the institutions that represent this entity.

“If such a scenario occurs, it will lead to the fall of the government in RS, that is, the fall of the cabinet. If I have not transferred authority to someone else, in writing or orally – no further session of the RS Government can be held, which means life will be endangered, the payment of salaries, pensions, veterans’ benefits, and so on will be jeopardized,” he notes.
