vispak_dzezva02As part of the program of Sarajevo Holiday Market, on Saturday a tasting will be organized for the ‘zlatna džezva’ (golden coffee pot), real Bosnian coffee, from the biggest džezva in the world.

It will be thus included in one of the most interesting tourist attractions, and its appearance at the Sarajevo Holiday Market will complete the New Year’s atmosphere in the capital city of B&H.

The biggest džezva in the world was tried for the first time in Mostar nine and half years ago, when in a few hours it broke the world record in making and then drinking coffee, 650 liters or 8.000 coffee cups of Bosnian coffee, which was enough to enter the Guinness Book of Records.

Since then, this giant coffee brewing pot has been tried by more than three million people in B&H, Turkey, Slovenia, Croatia, German, Austria, China, Macedonia and other countries.

Nasir Jabučar and his assistants created it in the summer of 2004.
