BiH Volleyball Players won Silver at the Paralympic Games in Paris!

The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina in sitting volleyball won the silver medal at the Paralympic Games in Paris. Tonight, in the final match of the competition, our volleyball players were defeated by the Iranian team with a score of 1:3 in sets 25:22, 28:30, 16:25 and 14:25.

This is Iran’s eighth gold medal at the Paralympic competitions.

Ifet Mahmutović’s team won the first set with 25:22. The second set brought a great fight, and our team was defeated with 28:30. BiH lost the third set with 16:25, and the fourth with 14:25.

Let us remind you that in the group stage, the volleyball players of BiH beat Egypt with 3:1, Kazakhstan with 3:2 and France with 3:0. In the semi-finals, they were better than Germany with a score of 3:0.

This is the seventh medal for the BiH representatives at the Paralympic Games. So far, they have won two Olympic gold medals, three silver and one bronze medal.

A reception will be organized for the B&H volleyball players, as well as the silver medalist swimmer Ismail Barlov, in Sarajevo on September 9 at 3 pm in front of the Town Hall, BHRT writes.
