Voluntary Blood Donation in Čapljina

The citizens of Čapljina proved their sense of humanity when they responded to the action of voluntary blood donations.  This was just one out of many actions for blood donations that is organized more than once a year by the Red Cross of Čapljina and the Department of Transfusion in Mostar. The action for voluntary blood donation was very successful, because 59 people came to donate blood. Out of 59 who registered to donate blood, only 50 were able to donate yesterday. Because of the great number of people who wanted to donate blood, this action lasted a little bit longer than planned. The report from the Red Cross in Čapljina emphasized how overwhelmed they were by the turnout at this action. Zlatko Lučić, a record blood donor came also to donate his blood for the 56th time.  The youngest blood donor at this action was an 18 year old Monika Bule, who donated her blood for the first time yesterday.

Other blood donors at the action were: Josip Primorac, Robert Jurković, Željko Raguž, Filip Vegar, Ivan Pavlović, Nikica Raguž, Davor Mikulić, Branimir Pavlović, Dragan Petković, Mihaela Bule, Vide Bošković, Božo Erić, Krešimir Krešić, Zlatko Lučić, Denis Šuman, Vlatko Maslać, Antonio Pehar, Ivan Rašić, Milica Grgić – Ivanković, Božo Jelčić, Ozrenko Matić, Biljana Matić, Ante Sušac, Goran Lasta, Snježana Curić, Lidija Sušac, Darija Mikulić, Denis Grgić, Ivan Brkić, Gordan Buntić, Zoran Blagoje, Damir Jurković, Milenko Perić, Boris Čolić, Mario Čolić, Antonio Bošković, Oliver Udženija, Ivica Perić, Marin Nikše, Jure Šego, Josipa Drljo – Šego, Ivica Ivanković, Ante Šutalo, Jure Barišić, and Mateo Jovanović.
