The President of the European Commission, Usrula von der Leyen, commented on the decision of the leaders of EU member states to open negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the beginning, she welcomed the historic decision of the leaders to open negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“More progress has been made in one year than in an entire decade. Now Bosnia and Herzegovina is fully aligned with our foreign and security policy,” von der Leyen said.
She pointed out that progress has been made in migration management.
“There has also been progress in dialogue and reconciliation. I hope today’s decision will lead to more progress,” von der Leyen said.
