The Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina next week, together with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte.
This was confirmed by Plenković on Platform X after a conversation with the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, during the World Economic Forum in Davos.
“Croatia strongly supports BiH’s European path and advocates the opening of accession negotiations with the EU as soon as possible,” Plenković wrote on the X platform.
Earlier it was announced that von der Leyen would come to BiH on January 22 with the aim of encouraging BiH politicians on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s path to the European Union.
We remind you that at the end of last year, the leaders of the countries and governments of the European Union said that they would open negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina when the criteria are met, and the European Council called on the European Commission to inform about this progress by March of this year.
