Vucic about Arrival in Srebrenica inmedia.baSpeaking of the visit to Srebrenica with businessmen from Serbia, the Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić yesterday said that they are coming to Srebrenica in order to help and provide valuable donations for the construction of necessary public facilities.

“Tomorrow we are going there to help, we will give a significant donation in money, we will give a significant donation in necessary public facilities which we will construct or for the construction of facilities whose construction we will pay if the organizers want that. That will be big money, serious money, through which the Government of Serbia wants to show that we care about good relations between the Serbs and the Bosniaks in Srebrenica and about good mutual relations between the Serbs and the Bosniaks in general,” the Prime Minister stated at the press conference held in the Government of Serbia.

Vučić added that the Government of Serbia wants B&H and Serbia to jointly build better and more serious future in the entire region and highlighted: “I believe that primarily the citizens of Srebrenica will benefit significantly from our arrival, but when I say the citizens of Srebrenica, I also mean the citizens of Bratunac, Vlasenica and all other surrounding municipalities as well.”

Commenting on the request of B&H for compensation for flooded land after the construction of the hydro power plant Perućac amounting to 15 million EUR, Vučić said:

“We are working on that and discussing, that is not the issue of Srebrenica but four municipalities in total; that is more an issue for Republika Srpska and the entire B&H. We have already talked to them and we are searching for solutions for that issue.”
