Vucic expressed Concern about the Situation in Republika Srpska

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said on Saturday that he was very concerned about the situation in Republika Srpska, that the current state of affairs reminds him of “the situation before the outbreak of World War I”, among other things because the West and the European Union “are violating all the agreements they are supposed to guarantee”.

He also stated that one of the causes of the war in Ukraine was that the international community “stirred Russia up about the Minsk Agreement”, adding that he did not justify what official Moscow had done in the meantime.

“The Brussels Agreement was signed in 2013, since then (the other side) has not implemented a single point, Serbia has implemented every one. Here I am referring to the West and the EU as the guarantor of this agreement… They did not mention the Union of Serbian Municipalities for six months because it is not their vital interest… Dayton was good for ending the war in 1995, but they have been destroying and usurping the powers of Republika Srpska for 30 years”, Vučić assessed, as reported by Beta news agency.

He also stated that every president of Republika Srpska, since its proclamation, was punished by the international community with sanctions, imprisonment or expulsion”, and that “it is not possible that every one of them wanted to collapse Bosnia and Herzegovina or the Dayton Agreement”.

“You saw how they reacted to (President of Republika Srpska) Dodik’s calls for talks, support from the West for the further collapse of Republika Srpska… Wash yourself in cold water, you in Europe, we know your support for the principles of territorial integrity, we felt it on our skin… Wash yourself well and look at the numbers: 50 percent of global military personnel are from the US, 30,000 US soldiers are in Germany,” said Vučić.
