Vucic: “I expect the Situation in Europe and the World to escalate in the coming Months”

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said during today’s address to the public that he expects the situation in Europe and the world to escalate, saying that we are living in the time of the biggest geopolitical crisis since the Second World War.

“I expect the situation to escalate in the coming months and that we will face very serious consequences, I am talking about Europe and the world. But we must be firmly determined to do our job in the best possible way, to preserve peace, to ensure economic growth,” said Vučić, as broadcasted by Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).

Vučić pointed out that Serbia needs the stability of public finances in order to achieve all goals. As he stated, in the first quarter, Serbia had the highest growth rate in Europe at 4.7 percent.

He stated that inflation in June was 4.1 percent and should continue to decline. He says that they are at a record employment of 2,313,000 people. Foreign exchange reserves are 27 billion euros, adds Vučić, and gold reserves are 41.3 tons.

Also, he expects major disruptions in the market – from energy products to food, not only in Serbia, but also in the whole world.

Vučić also spoke about flying taxis, adding that they are negotiating with five global companies.

“In just ten years, we will have twenty thousand cars flying above us per hour. Lest you think I’m talking about miracles and fairy tales, unfortunately we will not be the first. We will be, I hope, among the first in Europe. We will to have already in 2027,” said Vučić, Fena writes.
