Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić spoke on Saturday in Prague with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, about the situation in the region, Serbia’s European path, the implementation of projects foreseen in the European Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, as well as the overall relations between Serbia and the EU.

Vučić wrote on Instagram “excellent conversation with von der Leyen”, thanking the President of the European Commission for her understanding and personal engagement when it comes to the progress of Serbia and the entire Western Balkans on the way to the EU, especially in the areas of accelerating social and economic integration.

“I reiterated that Serbia approaches its reform agenda with dedication, as well as that it is a serious and responsible partner of the EU in all activities aimed at building a common and prosperous future for all our citizens,” said the Serbian president.
