Vucic: There Will Be War, Everyone Is Preparing for It

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic warned yesterday during the opening of the new high-speed railway that connects Belgrade and Subotica that the whole world is preparing for war.

“It will be increasingly difficult in the world. It will be more difficult for us as well, for the simple reason that people must know that everyone is preparing for war. And when they are preparing for war, it means that there will be one. And I tell you there will be.

They are not interested in talks and negotiations. They are digging their trenches and waiting for the beginning, knowing that war is coming anyway. They are waiting and preparing,” said Vucic.

He emphasized that the world is moving towards war and that very few can prevent it.

“I would pay everything in the world for that not to happen. Unfortunately, I am afraid that I am right. We will also have to prepare some things that we have not prepared.

Our army is ready to deter any enemy, but we will have to prepare some other things.

I have twice increased all food reserves, both for the army and reserves, through our commodity reserves. Now I will again request an increase,” stated Vucic.

As for possible problems with fuel supply due to United States (U.S.) sanctions on the Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS), he announced that everything will be resolved and that there will be no buying of fuel in cans.

“What they left us with, we are trying to solve today. We found ourselves in a problem through no fault of our own and are paying the price. But citizens need not worry.

We will solve the problems and there will be no gasoline in cans, but let them know that if by chance we do have gasoline in cans, the only ones to blame are they,” concluded Vucic.
