Water in CS is safe to drink!

water2Due to the frequent interruptions in the delivery of drinking water, the Inspectorate of the sanitation, health and pharmaceutical inspection enhanced overseeing the safety of drinking water in Canton Sarajevo, is announced from the Cantonal Administration for inspection affairs of CS.

The sanitary inspection of the Cantonal administration for inspection affairs of CS took the official water samples on 8th and 9th February, from the distributive network in four points in municipalities Stari Grad, Centar, Ilidza and Vogosca.

With the analysis which is done by the Institute of Public Health of FBiH, it was confirmed that all the samples are in accordance with the organoleptic, physical, chemical and microbiological parameters prescribed by the Ordinance on the sanitary quality of drinking water.

According to the Institute of Public Health, there was compatibility in the inter-laboratory comparative tests between the Institute of Public Health and the Sanitary protection and control of water KJKP Water Supply and Sewerage.

By the control of sanitary inspection, it was confirmed that the competent authorities are monitoring the quality of drinking water with the standards prescribed by laws and regulations.
