Harmful Water from Croatia is supplied to the BiH Market

The Food Safety Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina was informed through the Rapid Alert System for Food and Animal Feed (EU RASFF) that spring water originating from Croatia was delivered to the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina in which, during official controls, the presence of black sediment at the bottom was visually confirmed bottles.

According to the Agency, the name of the product is “Studena 1.5 L”, brand Studena, country of origin – Croatia, and it can affect human health.

The mentioned product does not comply with the provisions of the Law on Food (Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina, No. 50/04), the Agency added.

All available information about the product, in accordance with current regulations, was submitted for further action to the relevant inspection bodies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which were asked to take measures and report back to the Food Safety Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
