bosna poplavaAccording to the data from gauging stations of the hydrological monitoring system “The Agency for water area of river Sava, Sarajevo”, Bosna river and its tributaries which caused the biggest problems in the last three days in regard to floods are declining.

A decrease of the level is recorded in Zavidovići as well, where every hour the level of river Bosna is decreasing about 10 cm.

River Vrbas and River Drina have been recording slight level decrease. The river Una has a slight trend of water increase, 1.2 cm in hour, and the river Sana is slightly decreasing, while Sanica in stagnant.

Particular difficult situation is in Posavina area. The trend of water level increase of the river Sava has occurred from 00:00 sati (17.05.2014.) and currently stands at about 5 cm/hour, thus in eight hours is recorded a total increase of 54 cm. The reason for this is the increased level of Una river and the increased levels of the Sava tributaries in Croatia.
