Weather Forecast for Weekend and Mountains

mountainMostly sunny weather without rainfall is expected for weekend in the major part of B&H.

Cloudiness is expected at the beginning of next week at the northern and northwestern parts of B&H.

The period of stable weather with no rainfall is expected throughout the next week.

The current snow depth on Vlasic Mountain is 20 centimeters, and the ski resort is still not in the function. However, tourism workers on Vlasic are expecting new snowfall and they hope that the ski slopes will be put into operation soon.

There is no snow for skiing on Bjelasnica Mountain either. Current snow depth is 15 centimeters, ski lifts are not in operation and it is not certain that they will be operating during the weekend. It was announced from the Olympic Centre Jahorina that the ski-lift Poljice will be in function this weekend.

Current snow depth on Jahorina Mountain is 10 centimeters, and the official opening of the winter season will take place tomorrow. However, the ski lifts are not in operation due to the lack of snow.
