West Ham interested in Mandžukić?

b_161123090Manager of West Ham Slaven Bilić is interested in bringing his fellow citizens Marioo Mandžukić from Juventus.

Scouts of the Hammers have observed Mandžukić during the friendly matches between Croatia and Northern Ireland earlier this month.

West Ham previously borrowed the striker of Juventus Simone Zaza, but the Italian national team player has not scored a single goal yet. The Hammers are currently 17th on the table of the English Premier League and in this season they scored only 13 goals.

Zaza will most probably leave West Ham already in January, so Bilić will try to bring Mandžukić. The Croatian striker scored a goal in the finish of the match of the Champions League against Seville, which was played on Tuesday night, and now he has four goals in all competitions of this season in total.

Bilić and Mandžukić have cooperated earlier, while the current manager of West Ham was the coach of the Croatian national team. The experienced striker is tied to Juventus with a contract for another two and a half years.
