What a Day for BiH Karate: Four Competitors won gold at the European Championship!

Karate players from Bosnia and Herzegovina achieved phenomenal success at the European Championship in Georgia.

Ali Arnautović, Emina Sipović, Anes Bostandžić and Bekir Grabus won the gold medal today at the European Championship for Cadets, Juniors and U21 competitors, which is being held in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Anes Bostandžić won the gold medal in the U21 + 84 kg wrestling category, with his great performance in the final, Anes defeated the representative of Azerbaijan with a score of 8:0.

Emina Sipović won the gold medal in the U21 -61 kg wrestling category, and in the final, Emina defeated the representative of Slovenia with a score of 4:1.

Bekir Grabus won the title of European champion in the U21 -67kg wrestling category in the final, defeating the home representative of Georgia with a score of 2:1.

And the fourth gold today was also won by Ali Arnautović, who won the title of European champion in the category of cadets -70 kg in the final, beating the representative of Ukraine with a score of 1:0.

Ajla and Nejra Sipović achieved an excellent result. Ajla Sipović won a silver medal in the junior women’s -66kg competition at the European Championship. Ajla was stopped today in the final by the representative from France with a score of 2:1. Nejra Sipović won the bronze medal in the U21 -55kg competition, Nejra defeated the representative of Belgium with a score of 9:1 in the fight for the bronze medal, N1 writes.
