As of January 1 this year, Germany alleviated the legal requirements for access to its labor market for citizens of BiH who, according to the new directive, can obtain a residence permit in Germany for all occupations, trainings and ancillary activities. I order to enter this country for employment, one must have an ensured workplace and a working visa.

In this regard, the workplace must meet the following conditions: no jobseeker with German or EU citizenship can be at the disposal for the free workplace and earnings and terms from the contract cannot be poorer that those received by an employee in Germany on a similar working place.

Representatives of the Labor and Employment Agency of BiH took advantage of the meeting to convey their experiences in mediating workers with secondary education qualifications of medical profession to Germany and attention was drawn to the problem of long waiting for obtaining a working visa in the Embassy of Germany in BiH, the Agency stated.
