What is Dodik’s Plan for 150,000 Bosniaks living in the Republika Srpska?

When Milorad Dodik finds himself in a difficult situation, his tactics are always verbal escalation, insults, and the more difficult the situation is for him, the worse the rhetoric. The problems he has created for himself have led to statements that cause unrest, but can also be understood as threats.

In Mostar, Milorad Dodik attended the opening of the Mostar fair, and he used his public appearances to issue serious threats and open up space for additional concern for everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Regarding the document in the United Nations, of course we need to preserve the peace, but if something is adopted, then the only thing possible is that we separate peacefully in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We do not want to live with the people who are trying to put such a shameful label on the Serbian people , which he does not deserve at all,” said Dodik, and then again denied the genocide and the facts, which have been established both legally and historically.

In the second part of the statement, Dodik made claims that should concern all those who care about peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“People in Republika Srpska are upset and they will not accept to live with Bosnian Muslims in conditions where they charge them with such shameful labels,” said Dodik.

A hundred dangers are hidden in this statement by Dodik. He has already announced that Republika Srpska will become independent if the resolution on the Srebrenica genocide is passed in the UN, but the idea that someone will not accept living with another nation is exactly what led to numerous war crimes.

The question arises when Dodik says that “people in the Republika Srpska” will not accept living with “Bosnian Muslims”, what is Dodik’s intention with the 148,000 Bosniaks living in the Republika Srpska and what would be their fate in that imaginary independent RS, which Dodik actively announces.

It is also worth recalling that in the “Strategic Goals of the Serbian People in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, which were published in the “Official Gazette of the Serbian People in BiH” in 1992, the first goal was “state demarcation from the other two national communities”, and after that numerous crimes followed, including the genocide in Srebrenica, Klix.ba reports.
