What is Number of Tourist Arrivals in November 2018?

The total number of tourist arrivals in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) in November 2018 was 58,593, which is by 21.5 percent more than in November 2017 and by 44.1 percent in comparison with October 2018.

32.1 percent of tourists are domestic ones and 67.9 percent are foreigners.

The total number of overstays in November 2018 was 102,260, which is by 17.6 percent more than in November 2017 and by 44.2 percent in comparison with October 2018. The share of domestic tourists in total number of overnight stays was 28.5 percent, and foreign tourists 71.5 percent.

According to the type of accommodation, the largest number of overnight stays was recorded in hotel type and similar accommodation with participation of 91.6 percent, data of the Federal Bureau of Statistics show.

Most of the overnight stays were realized by tourists from Croatia (16.9 percent), Italy (8.0 percent), Serbia (6.4 percent), China (6.3 percent) and Turkey (5.5 percent ) which is a total of 43.1 percent. Tourists from other countries realized 56.9 percent of the overnight stays.

The number of available beds in November 2018 was 27,682, which is 0.2 percent more than in November 2017.

In the Republic of Srpska, in November 2018, there were 25,837 tourist arrivals, which was by 21.7% less than in October 2018 and 64,066 tourist nights, which was by 21.9% less than in October 2018, data are the Entity Bureau of Statistics show.

The number of tourist arrivals in November 2018 was higher and the number of overnight stays by 8.3 percent compared to the same month last year. In November 2018, Republika Srpska had 10,477 permanent beds.
