What is the average net Salary in Republika Srpska?

The average net salary in the Republika Srpska paid in November this year amounted to 1,296 BAM and is nominally higher by 7.0 percent, and in real terms by 3.8 percent, than in the same month last year, the Republic Institute of Statistics announced.

According to these data, this year’s average net salary in November is nominally higher by 0.5 percent, and in real terms by 0.7 percent, than October’s.

The highest average net salary of 1,707 BAM was paid in financial and insurance activities, and the lowest was 973 BAM in construction.

The announcement states that nominal growth in net wages was recorded in all areas, the highest being 17.8 percent in traffic and storage, followed by 17 percent in art, entertainment and recreation, and 15 percent in professional, scientific and technical activities.

The prices of products and services used for personal consumption in the Republika Srpska, measured by the consumer price index, in November compared to October were on average 0.2 percent lower, while compared to the same month of the previous year they were on average 3, 1 percent.

Calendar-adjusted industrial production in the Republika Srpska from January to November this year compared to the same period last year is 2.9 percent lower. In this period, a growth of 5.4 percent was recorded in the production and supply of electricity, gas and steam, and air conditioning, while there was a decrease of 1.5 percent in the extraction of ore and stone.

From January to November of this year, exports amounted to four billion 801 million BAM, which is 4 percent less than in the same period last year, and imports amounted to six billion 429 million BAM, which is 2 percent less, while the percentage of coverage of imports by exports amounted to 74.7 percent.

Observed by product groups, the largest share in exports is achieved by electricity with 499 million BAM, which is 10.4 percent of total exports, while the largest share in imports is achieved by petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals (except crude), with a total value of 484 million BAM, which is 7.5 percent of total imports.
