What is the Number of Cars stolen and returned this Year in BiH?

Since the beginning of the year, 120 cars have been stolen in the Sarajevo Canton, and 71 vehicles have been returned, according to the Patria News Agency.

On the territory of Sarajevo Canton, 15 criminal offenses of theft of motor vehicles were committed in August this year, 13 of which were found and returned to their owners (the Police Directorate of the MUP CS returned ten and the owners found three vehicles).

In July this year, 14 cars were stolen, 12 of which were found and returned to the owners (the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Canton Sarajevo (MUP CS) returned to the owners eight motor vehicles, the Police Directorate of the of Zenica Doboj Canton – one, while three vehicles were found by the owners)

In June, 15 motor vehicle theft offenses were committed. Eight were found, of which MUP CS returned three vehicles, Police Station Kakanj one and four motor vehicles were found by the owners. According to MUP CS, the number of thefts has been reduced compared to last year.

In May, 21 vehicles were stolen and 12 were returned by the Police Directorate of the MUP of KS four vehicles, Republik Srpska entity MUP one, the other MUP two and the owners found five vehicles.

In April, 29 vehicles were stolen, 12 were returned, nine were stolen in March and five were returned, ten cars were stolen in February and three were returned. In January, 17 vehicles were stolen and six were returned.
