The total debt of Republika Srpska (RS), one of the entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is almost seven billion BAM, not 5.8 billion – claims the Democratic Progress Party (PDP) MP in the Republika Srpska National Assembly Jelena Trivic.

She states that the debt is showed less because the government in the RS does not include health system debt exceeding one billion BAM.

She also said that foreign investments in RS are at the level of statistical error and that their average inflow over the past four years has been around 120 million BAM.

Trivic added that 269,000 workers were employed in the RS, and that data from the entity Tax Administration indicated that the number in March was 251,252 workers, of which 37,000 did not receive health insurance contributions.

“The authorities in the RS have to deal with these problems and not deal with general political issues that are of no use to anyone,” Trivic said.Wha
