Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Bakir Izetbegovic, met with Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Omar Razzaz and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Safadi.

They exchanged their views on the political situation in BiH and Jordan and relations in our region, as well as in the Middle East. They emphasized friendly relations between BiH and Jordan during the conversation.

They noted that bilateral relations are good, but there is enough space for important improvement of economic relations, especially in the fields of agriculture, pharmaceutical industry and tourism.

They emphasized that the establishment of the flight Sarajevo-Amman would contribute to development of better economic relations, in accordance with already signed agreements between BiH and Jordan on air transportation and tourism.

The delegation of the Presidency of BiH also included Zoran Djeric, advisor of the member of the Presidency of BiH Mladen Ivanic, and Igor Planinic, advisor of the Croatian member of the Presidency of BiH Dragan Covic.

Continuation of a working visit and a meeting with His Royal Highness King of Jordan, Abdullah II, is planned for today. The delegation of the Presidency of BiH will travel to an official visit to the State of Palestine after this visit.
