novalic2Even though Fadil Novalić, the Prime Minister of FB&H, stated that the arrangement with the IMF have failed, the authorities in B&H should make a written statement regarding the “stand-by arrangement” of B&H with the IMF until Monday.

Announcements that the Government of FB&H could make a loan from commercial banks are not substantiated since the authorities in B&H have not make a written statement regarding the “stand-by arrangement” with the IMF, which should finalize its negotiations with B&H until September.

Government of the Federation of B&H has received a new letter of intention, regarding which it should declare in written form not later than the 6th of July 2015.

Recent meeting of representatives of the Council of Ministers of B&H, the Government of Federation of B&H and the Government of RS with representatives of the International Monetary Fund and other international financial institutions in Teslić, took place on the initiative of the authorities from the entity of the Republic of Srpska.

Supposedly, Fadil Novalić, on behalf of the Federation of B&H, accepted all the conditions of the IMF at that meeting, while the representatives of the Republic of Srpska led by Željka Cvijanović disagreed with everything.

As confirmed by several sources, an increase in VAT in B&H will not happen, and the problem at a meeting occurred with regard to the amendments of the Labour Law.

The Federation of B&H was ready to amend the Labour Law by September, while representatives of the Republic of Srpska insisted that the amendments take place by the end of the year.

The Federal Minister of Finance, Jelka Miličević stated that salaries and pensions as the regular expenditure are not to be touched.

“Transfers for displaced persons, farmers, culture and sports are the first that will be managed,” said Miličević.
