The aviation industry is one of the industries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic. As public relations associate Sanja Bagaric-Arnaut told N1, Sarajevo International Airport is currently sharing the fate of many other airports and airlines around the world.

However, as confirmed for N1, the renewal of several lines from Sarajevo is expected soon.

”From the middle of next month, Wizz Air flights to Budapest are expected to be renewed, twice a week. From the same month, Eurowings should also renew flights to Cologne and Stuttgart. Please note that due to the situation with the COVID 19 pandemic, the situation with flights is constantly changing, and these airlines reserve the right to change the flight schedule. When it comes to plans for the future, and as agreed at a meeting held last week, the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board and representatives of travel agencies will make attractive packages with hoteliers for tourists from the United Arab Emirates according to their wishes and interests,” said Bagarić-Arnaut .

In the current situation of the pandemic, the citizens of the United Arab Emirates have a visa-free regime, without additional requirements, which is why, according to Sarajevo International Airport, special attention will be paid to tourists and the establishment of lines from that part of the world.

Currently, Turkish Airlines (Sarajevo-Istanbul, six times a week), Air Serbia (Sarajevo-Belgrade, four times a week), Austrian Airlines (Sarajevo-Vienna, four times a week), Pegasus (Sarajevo-Istanbul) fly through Sarajevo Airport (four times a week), Flydubai (Sarajevo-Dubai, four times a week), Croatia Airlines (Sarajevo-Zagreb, once a week), eKapija writes.
