Where do People live the shortest, and where do they live the longest?

Life expectancy varies significantly by region, as well as by country, and depends on several factors. In 2023, it ranged from 53 to 87 years.

The countries with the shortest life expectancy in the world are mostly located in Africa. According to the infographic published by “Pixsell”, people live the longest in Monaco, Hong Kong, Macao, and Japan.

They are followed by Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Singapore, Italy, the Vatican City, and South Korea.

The shortest life expectancy is in Chad, Nigeria and Lesotho. The list of ten countries with the shortest average life expectancy in 2023 also includes the Central African Republic, South Sudan, Somalia, Eswatini, Namibia, Guinea, and Mali.
