Who is donating $22 Million for the University Library Sarajevo?

University Library ekapija.baDeputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B&H and the Minister of Finance and Treasury of B&H Vjekoslav Bevanda hosted the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to B&H Hani bin Abdullah Mominah, with whom he discussed the possibilities of economic cooperation.

During the meeting, it was highlighted that B&H and Saudi Arabia have exceptionally good bilateral relations and that economic cooperation between the two countries should be continuously improved because there are unexploited potentials in the fields of economy, tourism, as well as cultural cooperation.

Minister Bevanda pointed out that progress is evident in reform processes in B&H and that these activities have to be continued, which will also contribute to the creation of better environment for attracting foreign investments.

It was also discussed at the meeting about preparations for the soon signing of agreement based on which the Saudi Fund for Development will approve a grant amounting to around $22 million for construction and equipping of the University Library Sarajevo and a loan amounting to around $6 million for infrastructure projects in Goražde, the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of B&H stated.
