A passenger plane flying from Frankfurt to the Egyptian resort of Hurghada was diverted to Zagreb after entering the airspace of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“The Boeing 737-800 aircraft of the Croatian ACMI carrier E.T.F Airways, registration number 9A-KOR, was on a flight from Frankfurt to Hurghada this morning at 8:20 local time, and at the moment of entering the airspace of Bosnia and Herzegovina at an altitude of 10,700 meters, it was diverted to Zagreb”, reported the Croatian aviation portal Avioradar.
The crew diverted the plane due to the alleged health problem of one of the passengers on the flight. Unofficially, it was a suspected heart attack, reports local media.
At Zagreb Airport, the passenger was readily met by the emergency services. The plane landed in Zagreb at 8:36 a.m. local time.
