On the Kruzi plateau, at the foot of the Cincar mountain, not far from Livno, hundreds of wild horses live unhindered.

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is rich in natural resources, and the herd of horses on Mount Cincar is one of the natural phenomena that cannot be seen anywhere else on the European continent.

This area is one of the few places in the world that has such a large number of wild horses in one place. These are the descendants of those tame ones, whose owners, with the advent of mechanization, released them into nature to live freely in the 70s of the last century.

Over time, they reproduced and today, according to estimates, there are more than 800 of them in that locality. Now, every day, hundreds of playful horses run around the old stone traps on the Kruzi plateau.

Large herds of wild horses congregate on the Kruzi plateau both in summer and winter, which have made the Livno region famous all over the world. The beautiful scenes of wild horses moving freely on an area of 100 square kilometers leave no one indifferent.

This incredible landscape, as well as wild horses, attract numerous adventurers and tourists who want to enjoy this natural phenomenon. They are currently the greatest tourist potential of the Livno region, because they are a unique attraction in the world, Klix.ba writes.
