The airline between Mostar and Belgrade will continue to operate until October 2025.
The Mayor of Mostar, Mario Kordić, met with Mr
director of Mostar Airport, Marko Đuzel.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the fact that Mostar Airport signed a new one-year contract with Air Serbia, according to which this airline will fly between Belgrade and Mostar until October 2025.
Air Serbia operates flights from Mostar three times a week, on Sundays, Mondays and Fridays, and the flight lasts about 50 minutes.
In 2024, Mostar Airport achieved a one hundred percent increase in the number of passengers, and the Mostar-Belgrade airline is statistically and commercially the best line with an occupancy rate of 80 to 90 percent.
Residents of Mostar and Herzegovina reacted positively to the opening of the Mostar-Belgrade airline, because Air Serbia provides quality air connections from Mostar, via Belgrade to Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Stockholm, Brussels, Copenhagen and many other cities.
Mayor Kordić congratulated the Mostar Airport Management on the results achieved, which created prerequisites for further development. Mostar Airport now has two airlines throughout the year, to Belgrade and Zagreb, or six regular flights a week, Klix.ba writes.
