Will the Fuel Prices decrease in the Federation of BiH?

”In the last seven days, more precisely from April 12th to 18th, the Federal Ministry of Trade received 496 notifications for the reduction of the price of gasoline and diesel, ” it was confirmed to agency Fena from that ministry.

As they emphasized, the range of retail prices of petroleum products on April 19th this year in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) for premium unleaded gasoline 95, BAS EN 228 – BMB 95 is from 2.46 to 3.11 BAM per liter, and for diesel BAS EN 590 (10 ppm) from 3.01 to 3.31 BAM per liter, Federalna writes.

Namely, the average retail price of petroleum products in the FBiH on March 31st this year for premium unleaded gasoline 95, BAS EN 228 – BMB 95 was 2.87 BAM per liter, and for diesel BAS EN 590 (10 ppm) 3.15 BAM per liter.

The average retail price of petroleum products in the FBiH on April 19th this year for premium unleaded gasoline 95, BAS EN 228 – BMB 95 is 2.85 BAM per liter, and for diesel BAS EN 590 (10 ppm) 3.09 BAM per liter.

During March this year, according to the sublimated results of the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs (FUZIP) and all ten cantonal inspections, 1.155 inspections were carried out, within which irregularities were found, for which 430 misdemeanor orders with a cost of 352.800 BAM will be issued.

Out of the total number, the federal market, tourism and catering inspectors performed 153 inspections in which 82 irregularities were determined, which means the issuance of 159 misdemeanor orders with a financial burden of 148.850 BAM.

The Government of the FBiH, at the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Trade, passed a Decision on prescribing measures of direct price control by establishing the maximum amount of margins for petroleum derivatives, by which it prescribed tocompanies engaged in the activity of wholesale in petroleum products with a maximum margin in the amount of 0.06 BAM/liter of derivatives, and to companies that perform the activity of retail sale of petroleum products, the maximum margin in the absolute amount of 0.25 BAM/liter of derivatives.
