The new indebtedness of RS in the amount of 300 million USD will have no consequences on the state budget, told FENA today a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and President of the Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) Mladen Ivanić.
“If RS has found a bank which is willing to issue a loan without guarantees of the state then it is the matter of RS alone, but it will have no consequences on the BiH budget or the Federation of BiH,” said Ivanić.
He pointed out that the consequences will be in the form of further indebtedness of RS, but that the entity will have to repay its own debt, and now the only question that remains whether RS would be able to do it.
