The Prosecutor’s Office of the Canton Sarajevo (CS) issued an order not to conduct an investigation in a case that was formed based on information from the University of Sarajevo, which was submitted by the Anti-Corruption and Quality Control Office of the CS and anonymous reports.

The application is related to the credibility of the public documents of Sebija Izetbegovic from postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb. The Prosecutor’s Office of CS said that it is obvious from the report and accompanying documents that the reported offense is not a criminal offense.

Namely, the prosecutor’s team, undertaking several actions of proof, among other things, temporarily seized the original copy of the study index of Sebija Izetbegovic from the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb, then, through international legal aid, sent several requests to the competent authority of the Republic of Croatia, together with a team of expert graphologists and with the presence investigation judge of the County Court in Zagreb, excepted all relevant documentation from the same faculty.

After the team’s graphological expert examination, it was determined that the index form of Sebija Izetbegovic is authentic and that all the signatures in the index are authentic, that is, signed by professors from the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb.

“So, all the allegations from the report have been verified and since the information from the University of Sarajevo pointed to the existence of the criminal offense of document forgery, the Prosecutor’s Office of CS has concluded that in the aforementioned case there are no elements of the criminal offense of document forgery, fraud, or any other criminal offense prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH)“, concluded the CS Prosecution.

Given this situation, the question now arises as to what will happen to Sebija Izetbegovic after she was stripped in quick succession of her titles, Klix.ba reports.
