Milorad Dodik, president of the Republika Srpska entity and leader of the SNSD party, confirmed that he is going to Moscow on May 23, i.e. next Tuesday. In his suitcase, Dodik will also carry the medal with which he honored Russian President Vladimir Putin on January 9 this year, but he did not have the opportunity to present it to him.
As Klix.ba unofficially learns, the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, could present an award to Milorad Dodik for improving friendly relations between the Russian Federation and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s entity of the RS. As is known, Dodik is the only politician in Europe who does not condemn Russian aggression against Ukraine.
Klix.ba was unable to get confirmation of this information from high-ranking officials in BiH and Russia, so it remains to be seen whether Dodik, apart from impressions, will bring something concrete from Moscow.
From May 24 to 25, 2023, Moscow will host the second Eurasian Economic Forum, and a meeting between Putin and Dodik is planned on the sidelines of the forum.
Dodik has already announced that in Russia he will present Putin with the Order of the Republika Srpska on a necklace.
“I’m going to try to find out, it’s in my interest, so that I can show our people how they look at the future world, so that they can adapt to me somewhere. That world is not the same as it was 10 years ago and is completely different from what it was before,” he said.
On his way back from Moscow, the leader of the RS will go to Belgrade to join the big rally of the ruling regime in Serbia organized by Aleksandar Vučić.
The Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) will support the rally in support of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, which will be held on May 26, and on this occasion, the committees of this party will be instructed to plan the route and support, Klix.ba learns, Klix.ba reports.
