Winners of the second Startup Weekend in Mostar announced

startup weekendThe second Startup Weekend in Mostar, organized by INTERA Technology Park, was completed yesterday. At the three-day long competition youth had a chance to work in a team, develop a business idea, learn how to present to potential investors, and gain unique experience for later.

Startup Weekend in Mostar gathered 45 participants that formed eight teams. Apart from participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, participants from the USA, Sweden and Great Britain were present too, which placed Mostar on the map of few world cities in which this event was organized so far.

The winner of the second Startup Weekend is team EMERALD from Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose idea was the production of high-quality PC cases. Srđan Škoro, the leader of the team, said that they are very happy with the victory, especially considering the strong competition. The winners received award in the amount of 5,000 BAM.

Startup Weekend, organized in more than 750 cities in the world so far, was organized in Mostar for the second time with the support of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and local sponsors UniCredit Bank and company MojTaxi.
