Winter calculation of time starts in the night between the 24th and 25th of October by moving the clocks back.
On Sunday, the 25th of October, at 3 o’clock, the watch should be shifted back for an hour, on 2 o’clock.
Moving clocks in Western Europe started at the beginning of the 70s of the last century.
Explanation for this was that this is “extending” the day, allow savings in energy consumption, increasing productivity, improving and adapting people and making working day more productive.
