Sunčica Anđić (24) was born in Sarajevo, but left during the war. She moved to Canada in 1998 and currently lives in Vancouver, and is one of the candidates for this year’s competition Miss World Canada 2014.
On the official profile for Miss World Canada, Sunčica stressed that she always carries with herself a part of Sarajevo, and that it is this memory that makes her go further and gives her the zest for her wish to change the world, writes 24sata.hr.
Beautiful Sunčica explained how she applied for the competition: ‘’I applied in July last year. I had to go through the entire procedure, from the interview to photo shoots. I decided to sign up for Miss Canada after I found out that they do not only assess external beauty, but the jury is also interested in what you carry within you. Internal beauty is my advantage’’, said Sunčica, who is not burdened with a victory.
In the official video for the selection for Miss, where candidates are presented to the public, Sunčica said that she applied because she wants to help children find belief in a better future.
