Women’s Entrepreneurship Day-WED was marked in BiH for the first time under slogan “Day of Inspiration for Future Women Entrepreneurs”.
On that occasion, Association of Women Entrepreneurs of BiH “ONE” orgaized a conference in Sarajevo, which gathered a few dozen women from the entire BiH, where they presented their initiatives for strengthening position of women in society, economy, politics and other segments.
”We did not only celebrated success of women entrepreneurs in BiH but we also launched a new story,” was stated in the press release by Association “ONE”.
The Association emphasized in the press release that women are capable to be support and example to one another.
Stories of women entrepreneurs show that the future of BiH also lies in women’s hands and specific initiatives of successful women from BiH will be discussed during the Conference.
The Women’s Entrepreneurship Day was marked in BiH on the same day as in the United Nations in New York.
The main ceremony of WED is held in partnership with the U.S. State Department and 153 countries and embassies across the world. It is a day when women in business world are celebrated and supported and when strong connections are established for changes in the world.
