Working Meeting in Mostar with WFN Delegation

eday5On Earth Day on 22 April, a working meeting will be held in the building of the Herzegovinian-Neretva Canton (HNK) in Mostar of the Ministry for Trade, Tourism and Environmental Protection of the HNK with a delegation of the World Fund for Nature.

The meeting will begin at 11:00, and the topic of discussion will be the possibility of working together on a plan to establish better environmental protection and sustainable development, with a particular emphasis on the area of the nature park Hutovo Blato.

Representatives of the WFN’s Mediterranean Program in Croatia and BiH Bojan Stojanović and Zoran Mateljak will give to dr. sc. Zejnil Trešnja, the Assistant Minister for Nature Conservation and the Environment a petition that was signed at the WFN, and asks local and state institutions, organizations and companies and international organizations to adopt and apply concrete steps in the protection of the nature park Hutovo Blato.
