Works on the Reconstruction of Bobsled track to be continued

bob staza2Enthusiasts of Sledding Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina continued to work on the restoration of bobsled track at Trebević during the weekend.

In the first cycle, enabling track on the curve 5 until start 1 will be continued. At the same time, it is planned to work on building the platform on curves 3, 5, 7 and 9 as well as on the finish line.

It was announced from Sledding Association of B&H that the priority during the execution of works will be placing the protective fences on the curves in order to protect competitors.

“At this stage of works, the Associations is planning to repair the track from the top to 5th curve, and the rest has already been repaired last year. So far we have received confirmation of the arrival on the preparations for our track from Slovenia and Slovakia teams and the team of Turkey sent request as well. A total of seven teams have expressed a desire to train on our Olympic beauty, “as said in the statement.
