[wzslider autoplay=”true”] With solemn gathering of participants and the projection of the award-winning film “These are the rules,”Youth Film Festival (OFF) was officially opened last night in Sarajevo.

Two festival locations, three film programs and a large number of supporting contents are characteristic of this festival which shows films for the young and about the young people, or films that are work of young artists.

Twenty two year old Kenan Music, the director of the festival, said that the Youth Film Festival (OFF) was created 8 years ago as a project in Dobrinja high school. This institution opened their film section back then.

“Today we have an ambitious film festival, which will last for 4 days, and in the competition will be screened 15 short films and 10 documentaries whose creators are young people from nine countries. Program will be screened in the House of AF, in the terms at 2:00 pm and 5.00 pm, and admission is free for public,” said Music.

In the evening hours will be screened feature films, among which are especially interesting screenings under the open sky, on the Yellow Bastion. On Sunday, on the closing of the festival, will be screened cult film “Valter defends Sarajevo”.
